ZIWC - Zug International Women's Club

The Zug International Women’s Club was started in February 1967 by two Englishwomen, who instigated a regular coffee morning with a view to meeting other English-speaking women living in the Zug area. The ZIWC has since grown to be a thriving organisation comprising over 500 members representing nearly 50 different nationalities.
The ZIWC is run by a board of eleven and several committees, which organise a number of regular activities as well as seasonal parties, monthly contact coffees and special projects for charities. Our primary aim is to provide a point of contact for social interaction, and to offer support, friendship and information to newcomers to the area. The official language of the ZIWC is English, but our diverse nationalities and backgrounds bring vitality and colour to our gatherings.
