Started in 1976, Rockford Toolcraft has grown from a two man tool and die shop to a two plant, 400+ skilled employees, modern progressive die and heavy gauge stamping operation. Specializing in the design/building of heavy gauge stamping dies. We produce metal stampings and assemblies and are known for our heavy gauge stampings run from coil which sets us apart from your average job shop.
Spanning two facilities, we have over 60 heavy gauge stamping presses up to 4400 tons, that offer transfer and coil capacities up to 1/2" thick and 60" wide. We have a large modern toolroom, more than 50 diemakers, 10 die designers, 3D CAD design and cutting edge "AutoForm" forming simulation software. We can assist with product designs, manufacture prototypes, design and build tooling and run the most challenging parts.
