ContinuEM was founded in 2021 by two emergency medicine physicians, Dr. Freddy Sotelo and Dr. Bobby Massoudian, who saw a gap in available health care options for patients requiring rapid care.
They saw first hand that Emergency Rooms were often impacted with long wait times, leaving some patients untreated and many to shoulder the burden of a high cost for care. While an Urgent Care Center can provide rapid care at a low cost for patients, they lack many of the capabilities found in the Emergency Room such as advanced imaging and diagnostics or an on-site lab with extended testing capabilities.
At ContinuEM our vision is to bridge the gap between traditional care options and deliver an alternative to patients seeking high quality care, at a facility with advanced capabilities, at a fraction of the cost of the Emergency Room.
