Hopewell is a community of 22,600 residents about two hours northwest of Virginia Beach on the James River. Nearby are several parks, including Hopewell City Park, Atwater Park, Woodlawn Park, and Mathis Park. We have some interesting museums in the City Point Historic District, including City Point History Museum and Appomattox Manor.
