With an enrolment of 1,200 students from around 800 international families, a staff of 270 teachers and support personnel, and operations across two campuses, Taipei European School requires a professional, integrated organisational structure for the efficient leadership and management of the school.

Governance
As with many educational organisations, TES makes a distinction between governance , involving matters of policy, strategic and longer term planning, and management , which is focused on the day-to-day implementation and supervision of the operations of the school.
