Lancaster Royal Grammar School has a long tradition of providing excellent opportunities for boys to excel academically as well as a national reputation for sporting and other achievement. This state grammar school of around 1000 boys aged 11 – 18, including 170 boarders and a thriving sixth form of 300, achieves consistently high academic standards whilst providing a caring ethos in all aspects of school life, supported by a strong and effective pastoral system.
