The American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Lebanon)

The American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Lebanon) is an official non-profit organization aiming at developing business and trade relations between Lebanon and the United States. The AmCham, member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and part of the broad network of AmChams, is supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce and operates from its offices in Beirut Central District (under decree 1929 from the Ministry of Economy & Trade in Lebanon)

Objectives

The American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce objectives are as follows:  

1 - To further the development of economic, commercial, industrial, financial, agricultural and tourism relations between the United States of America and Lebanon.

2 - To encourage mutual investments in the private sectors, both in Lebanon and the United States, and promote commercial and industrial exchange between the two countries.

3- To enforce good relations between American Chambers of Commerce, Lebanese Chambers of Commerce and other Chambers.

4- To serve as a platform for contacts between American, Lebanese and foreign businessmen.

5- To prepare studies and organize meetings, conferences and exhibitions and to carry out any operation which it may deem useful in the accomplishment of its purposes.
