Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Canada

The Embassy's new building in Ottawa is located at Sussex Drive across from the Royal Canadian Mint and the National Gallery of Canada. The dome roof gives a hint of the Middle East to the building which blends well with its historic surroundings and other government buildings. The building walls are a mix of granite and limestone, chosen carefully to harmonize well with old and new buildings nearby.

Since 1993, four ambassadors have taken turns in heading Kuwait’s Diplomatic Mission in Canada, respectively H.E. Ambassador Abdulmohsen Al Duaij, H.E. Ambassador Majdi Al-Dafiri, H.E. Faisal Al-Mulaifi, H.E. Dr. Musaed Al-Haroun, and currently H.E. Ali Al-Sammak.

The Embassy of Kuwait actively participates and contributes to a variety of social events and activities organized, in the national capital region of Ottawa and some other Canadian cities, by governmental, non-governmental organizations; universities and public schools.
