The Istituto Europeo, located in the very heart of Florence, adjacent to the Duomo, was established in 1988 and for several years has specialized in teaching Italian language, music, art and culture to foreign students with many returning year after year.

For culinary and wine enthusiasts, the Institute offers the opportunity to discover the best restaurants, cellars, and vineyards in and around Florence, especially in the exclusive Chianti. For professional and career oriented people the IE offers both academic and professional culinary programmes. An excellent and extremely professional Music Department and a Department Of Fine Arts have been created to allow students to deepen their knowledge of art and music.
