Urbana originally started as J&L Design in Victoria in 1985. The original location was on Douglas and Alpha Street and was best known for being a Custom Furniture and Cabinetry showroom.
In 2003, Simon and Justa Kendall moved from Calgary and assumed the responsibility of the business re-naming it Urbana Kitchens.
