New York International Restaurant

New York is a true hybrid restaurant/art gallery. The marriage of the two has become de riguer in Manhattan over the past year, where downtown eateries have become respected showcases for some of Manhattan's finest artists.

Beijing attempts to copy that trend have consistently fallen short. Beijingers either get respectable food or respectable art but never both under the same roof. New York has not only been acclaimed for its food, but its walls are adorned with an evolving collection of some of the international artists this Asian capital has to offer. Painters, sculptures and photographers from France, the Netherlands, America, South Africa and the PRC. Again ... a melting pot.
