At Konohana our curriculum is based on a thematic approach which uses a specific theme each week. This encourages a wide variety of classroom activities and stresses integrated lea r ning as the children relate to the themes and follow their progression from week to week.
The teachers are free to design activities appropriate to the needs of their class, and are not bound to follow a detailed prescriptive curriculum.
