Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dublin, Ireland

The Korean Embassy was established in Dublin in 1987. It was in 1983 that the Republic of Korea established diplomatic relations with Ireland. Since then, Korea and Ireland have maintained very friendly and co-operative relations in political, economic, cultural and other areas. Even before diplomatic ties were forged between the two countries, Ireland's Columban Fathers and Nuns have been despatched as missionaries to Korea since 1933.
