Victoria English School

We are an all-age school which follows the English National Curriculum. In 2010 we have some 750 students, of 63 nationalities. Our students are prepared for entrance to universities all around the world.

VES provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where students are encouraged to respect each other and to strive for their best.

We believe that academic work is only one part of education: VES provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities for children of every age. In the same way, visits and outings are part of life in every part of the school –everything from skiing in Switzerland to desert survival and to the planetarium.

The school is equipped with a broad range of facilities, ranging from a swimming pool to computer suites, library and climbing wall. 

The Lower Primary staff aim that children in the Foundation stage learn to act with confidence, know what their needs are and can tell right from wrong. They are encouraged to talk confidently and clearly, enjoy stories, sing and play. They become familiar with shapes, colours and numbers. They explore and learn about the world through play. Our aim is a well-adjusted and articulate child.
