Overheid.nl serves as a guide when searching for the web sites of all the Dutch governmental institutions on the Internet, and for the documentation available from the authorities in the Netherlands. The web site also incorporates sites of organisations closely affiliated with the Dutch government, such as libraries, schools, and (health) care institutions. The objective of Overheid.nl is to provide simple and reliable access to all information from the Dutch government available on the Internet. The site is an initiative of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Overheidsloket is also an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
