The American Citizen Services (ACS)

The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizen Services (ACS) office serves Americans who are traveling and residing in Cambodia. We provide a number of services to U.S. citizens, to include:

• Birth and death registration
• Passport issuance and renewals
• Notarial and authentication services
• Voting and information services

We also provide emergency services to Americans in cases of arrest, repatriation, crime victimization, and hospitalization. We can direct you to local medical or legal providers if you need assistance.

VISAS

Non-Immigrant Visas

Also called visitor or tourist visas -- are required for all citizens of countries not under the Visa Waiver Program who intend to enter the United States temporarily for business, tourism, or study. Persons planning to travel to the U.S. for a different purpose such as students, exchange visitors, temporary workers, etc., must apply for a visa under the appropriate category.  For more information on how to apply for a non-immigrant visa, please click here. You should apply for a visa at least two weeks before you intend to travel. Visa appointment wait times and processing vary, especially during peak travel seasons.  Tourist visas for Cambodian citizens are generally valid for three months, so you should not apply for a visa more than three months prior to your departure date.
