In 1993 Calgary Alarm began to expand into other centres both in Alberta and in Canada as a whole, and in order to foster this growth a name change became necessary. Today the company formally known as Calgary Alarm is now known as United Alarm. United Alarm is now the largest privately-owned security alarm company in Alberta. It is one amazing achievement, considering this company started from one client at a time and did not rely upon purchasing alarm contracts to attract new business.
