Polaris World offers six golf resorts in Murcia with affordable Spanish property starting from just 72,000 Euros.
The six golf resorts built by Nicklaus Design are located across the region of Murcia. Property on the resorts includes apartments, townhouses and villas. Each resort is a gated community with full security and facilities on site. Two of the resorts, Mar Menor and La Torre have five star Intercontinental hotels. Each resort has an 18 hole golf course. The courses are immaculately maintained. Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort and El Valle Golf Resort have both hosted senior golf chamionships including the Spanish Pro Chamionship. Condado de Alhama golf course, a Signature golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus has received tremendous reviews. The latest golf resort of Terrazas de la Torre resembles a British links course and again is getting excellent reviews.
As well as golf every resort has any number of outside communal swimming pools to enjoy. There is an international supermarket on each resort along with bars and restaurants. There are tennis courts on all resorts (except at present Terrazas de la Torre). Condado de Alhama has in addition, three squash courts and several football pitches.
The resorts are well served by two airports, San Javier (Murcia airport) is 10-30 minutes from the resorts. Alicante is 60 minutes. A third airport opens at Corvera early in 2012 and this will also be 10-30 minutes. Murcia is one of the most accessible regions in Spain for international flights.
There are plans in the region for a theme park, the second largest in Europe to be built by Paramount Pictures. The park is expected by 2015.
