We offer a variety of services, ranging from Orientation through to Departure Assistance, tailored to specifically meet the individual requirements of any relocation. 

Orientation 

Aim: To introduce you to Aberdeen and go through the key steps in your relocation.

Our Orientation service begins long before you move to Scotland...with a telephone call to introduce ourselves and start getting to know each other!
From this we are able to identify you and your family's needs and we are then able to tailor your orientation accordingly, using our relocation experience, detailed knowledge of the area and our unique Relocation Guide.
This initial process will help you understand what you will need to bring with you, help you through legal requirements such as immigration procedures, driving licenses, regulation on importing of pets, etc. We can also help arrange temporary accomodation and on on your day of arrival we can meet you at the airport and help you settle into that accomodation.

Home Search 

Aim: To help find you a new home and alleviate the stress of moving in.

The Aberdeen area offers a wide variety of property for lease and for sale from modern apartments and Victorian villas in the city itself to remote farmhouses and often the occasional castle in the stunning surrounding countryside. We have access to property listings of more than 60 agents as well as specialist knowledge of properties due to become available but not yet on the market.

Our service includes advising you on suitable locations, property searches, arranging viewing appointments and accompanying you to all first and second viewings. We act for you in lease negotiation, inventory checking and will deal with all aspects of helping you move in such as utility changeovers and guidance on unfamiliar systems. We provide this service for both leasing and purchasing of properties whichever you decide.

Educational Assistance 

Aim: To provide information on education in Scotland and help place your children in a school suited to their needs.

Scotland enjoys an international reputation for the quality of its education system and Aberdeen provides a full range of facilities from pre-school level to universities. We understand that settling your children into suitable schools can be one of the most stressful aspects of relocation for parents, so we can provide impartial information on the Scottish curriculum and on educational options in both the state and private sectors. We can also assist in making appropriate arrangements for those children with special needs. In addition, we can arrange appointments to tour schools, nurseries and daycares and to meet with headteachers, accompanying you if required.

Settling In 

Aim: To help you adjust to your new environment.

We understand that finding a new home and arranging education for the children is only part of the picture when relocating to a new environment. Loneliness, homesickness and unfamiliarity with new places and customs can make the first few months difficult without support. Our personnel have experience and an understanding of national and international moves and are able to provide both empathy and practical support such as assistance with opening bank accounts, registering with doctors and dentists, tours of shops, leisure facilities and local amenities and introduction to other newcomers and support group.

Ongoing Support

Aim: To provide support and practical help with issues that may arise during your time in Scotland.

While we will do everything in our power to ensure a trouble-free start to your location, changing circumstances during your assignment may result in you needing further advice or help. We provide a telephone helpline to offer assistance in dealing with such issues.

Departure Assistance 

Aim: To ensure a smooth, stress-free return home or onward move.

Ending your stay creates its own set of questions and concerns. We are able to smooth the process for you, enabling you to concentrate on saying farewell and looking forward to your next move. We will liaise with you and your company to arrange temporary accommodation prior to your departure and take care of the practical aspects of vacating a property such as notifying utility suppliers and cleaning. Just as we did when you arrived, we will act on your behalf with leasing agents regarding repairs and finalising property deposits.
