EuroMove is the single moving company in Hungarian ownership providing international relocation, moving and fine art services at international quality level. Since the real international moving operation began only in the early 90s in Hungary, we have a short business history compared to the history of the German moving industry, for example, that dates back 125 years.
Our professional experience dates back to the early 90s when Hungary became part of the international migration scene. The owner and managing director, Adrienne Deák had gathered professional experience with other international moving and fine art shipping services companies.
She founded EuroMove in 1998. We immediately joined HHGFAA, which was a great success at this very early stage.
We launched our relocation activity in 2002.
2004 was a milestone in EuroMove’s life, too: with the EU accession we could strengthen our cooperation with our European partners. We also joined EURA, the European Relocation Association in the same year.
We first cooperated with FEDEMAC, while taking part in organizing the 2004 conference in Budapest.
Subsequently, the Hungarian Moving Association (MAKÖSZ) was founded in 2005, which became a FEDEMAC member as well. Adrienne Deak was elected president by the 4 founding moving companies.
We launched our fine art shipping acitivity in 2007 and we have started to work with art galleries and exhibition halls.
In 2008, we joined TIRA (The International Relocation Associates), the global network of established relocation professionals. TIRA has members – typically one in each country - servicing more than 500 locations around the world. Founded in the early 1980’s by owner-managed, independent relocation companies, we are pioneers in the international relocation industry who provide customized relocation programs.
2009 - The Budapest Corporate Client Alliance HR workshop held in Budapest has contributed to the regular information exchange of the the corporate HR specialists. With regular trainings Tira conveys the knowledge to the members and its accounts, too.
At Euromove we continually develop and improve our services. When selecting our staff members, in addition to business skills we look at personality and reliability, which we think both guarantee customer satisfaction.
When out on a moving job, our English speaking, professional packing crew wears uniform and avoids smoking.
We send, both white and blue collar staff to international trainings to improve the quality level of our performance.
