South-South Asia-Pacific Finance Center

The South-South Asia-Pacific Finance Center (“SSAP-FC”) is a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization under the United Nations framework. It aims to promote effective communications amongst the public sectors, private sectors and international financial organizations, as well as the exchange of resources, technology and capital amongst the South-South Countries. The Center would fully utilize relevant resources in the Asia-Pacific region, especially financial resources, to contribute to the implementation of the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals and Post 2015’s agenda. To do that, SSAP-FC focuses on the multi-lateral, triangular cooperation4 and PPP5, building upon the traditional framework of bilateral and South-South cooperation. Any Project it participates would bear the endorsement of a non-governmental organization under the UN framework, which would secure some better the policy support received from both the investee and investor’s country and minimize the political risks.
