Luke Rennie is a man with a mission – to help YOU reach your fitness goals. It doesn’t matter if you are an exercise novice or a potential Olympian, Luke has got the knowledge and the enthusiasm to bring out the best in everyone he trains.
Born in Victoria, Australia, Luke is a surfer at heart and used to surf every day until he moved to Zürich in 2015. Surfing is still very much in his blood and is a sport that he passionately enjoys as often as his schedule allows.
When unable to surf, Luke’s other love is martial arts. He has an extensive combat sports background, having boxed since early childhood, and has trained in Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2008 – in Australia, the UK, and now Switzerland. He enjoys competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a sport he describes as beautiful, testing, and one that requires complete commitment.
Luke spends his free time training and conditioning himself so he can perform at the highest level in his chosen sports. He trains most days, using many of the systems and methods he teaches to his clients. It’s safe to say that Luke is not an armchair Personal Trainer; he really does walk the walk AND talk the talk!
As a professional Health and Fitness Expert and Boot Camp Coach, Luke holds a range of qualifications. His current list of credentials includes:
- Certificate III and IV in Fitness from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers
- Level 1 TRX Suspension Trainer
- Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor
- ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Senior First Aid
- Currently studying B2 level German
Luke prides himself on providing his extensive and ever-growing range of clients with the best possible service. He uses systematically-designed, progressive exercise programs that grow as the client becomes fitter. This approach ensures that each client, novice, intermediate, or advanced, is treated as an individual. There are no one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter programs here!
