Montreal style Italian food at its best. Nested in a strip mall along Torrance Boulevard in the old Calamari's location, Orlando's Pizzeria & Birerria intends to up the ante with Italian and French fare. Chef and owner Orlando Mulé recently moved to LA from Montreal, and brought with him several hometown dishes to supplement his pizza and pasta-centric menu. Think French bistro fare like French onion soup and beef tartare in addition to what is perhaps the most well-known Canadian dish, poutine, made with Montreal-style smoked brisket.
