Why not learn Dutch?

It looks like they all speak English in the Netherlands, especially in Amsterdam. But wouldn’t it be nice to speak at least a bit of Dutch? Or do the State Examination ‘staatsexamen NT-2’ ? It makes your life more Dutch.

A way of teaching

You would like to understand and speak Dutch and here is a teacher who leads you through the language. During the lessons there is a lot of practising in different styles. You learn by doing and repeating and focus on structure when needed. You will find out how words and phrases will remain in your memory. People have different learning styles and to us the role of the teacher is to understand what you need and give you the right things to do. That’s why we work in small groups and private-lessons. In our groups every student gets individual attention in order to let the student make progress.

According to teacher Vera van Popta: “It’s my job to provide you with all the exercises that will work for you. And yes, as a student, you not only have to practise, you have to do! You have to make the language yours. There is work to do for both of us and then it’s fun for you and me.”

Acquest Dutch language training has one studio for language. Vera van Popta is one of several experienced teachers. They all enjoy teaching and have developed their own style of teaching languages. At the core of each teacher's style is the ability to pay close attention to student's progress.
