First Capital Financial and Management Consulting was established in 2009 and was licensed by Ministry of Commerce and Industry to provide wide spectrum of consultancy and support services.

As a response to the nation-wide initiatives to promote employment of Omanis in the private sector and to His Majesty’s directives to promote Omanization across the private sector, First Capital launched the first job board in Oman www.jobibex.om which represents a recruitment portal that facilitates Omani job seekers and national organizations find each other. Since its inauguration in September of 2012, the site has received overwhelming response from job seekers as well as employers. Currently, there are more than 40,000 job seekers (more than 75% Omanis) and over 30 registered employers. The numbers are growing at an exponential rate as www.jobibex.com receives over 400 unique visitors and collects more than 80 resumes every day.

Following the success of www.jobibex.com, First Capital introduced a number of training programs that focus on promoting the employability of Omani youth in the private sector. The programs emphasize on assisting participants discover their potentials and embark upon their imbedded strengths to enhance their competitiveness in the job market. These programs helped our clients (employers) and participants (job seekers) better understand each other.
