For as long as I can remember, I have always had a unique obsession with the beauty industry. It all started when I was 12 years of age, and I watched my first few fashion shows. From Yves Saint Laurent, to Versace, Fendi, and even Chanel; I found myself in awe of the artwork that these designers created. It was eye opening and inspiring. From there, I fully immersed myself into learning more about the fashion industry. From the fabrics to the hair and makeup, I wanted to know the story behind the looks. I wanted to understand what these artists saw. I wanted to create like they did. Sculpting beauty from nothing but a piece of fabric and some thread.
In 2013, I took on a craft of my own. Sculpting my own art from the hair on someone’s head. I was a woman obsessed, wanting to desperately learn and understand the science of it all. With already being completely enthralled with the fashion and beauty industry, I figured what better way to get in touch with my creative side then to go to school to learn how to do this beautiful craft. I fell in love.
Fast forward to today, I am a passionate artist constantly growing in my craft. What drives me is the smile when clients look in the mirror, the confidence someone gets from something as simple as a haircut or new color. I couldn’t ask for a better career then the one where I get to touch lives in such a positive way. My passion is to make people feel and look beautiful one person at a time. I love to create and be expressive. I do not just welcome new ideas, I find them essential to everyday life especially when creating something beautiful, ART. I strive to be the best I can be while continuing to be uniquely myself.
