In person, and also online lessons, using Zoom. She specialises in KeyNotes Group lessons, where each song has multiple extension challenges. This means everyone in the group has something that’s a perfect fit to play. These classes are beautifully suited to beginner students.
Keynotes is underpinned by sound teaching pedagogy. It’s written by Melanie Bowes, who has a Masters in Music Education, and is currently further developing her knowledge as she undertakes a PhD. The program is delivered internationally, continues to be developed.
Sharon also teaches private lessons to a limited number of students.
She loves the joy of guiding newcomers to help them love music, and is a kind and encouraging teacher.
