Dansschool Kluver

We are Gerard and Marianne Kluver. Together we run Dancing School Kluver and teach dance. Gerard is fully FDO certified (which means that he is a Ballroom as well as a Latin teacher, trainer and coach) and for the English exam "highly recommended". Moreover, Gerard is authorized to educate dance teachers.

Our dancing school has a rich history. More than 65years ago, Gerard’s mother, Cary Wennink, founded the dancing school. Together with Gerard Sr., she taught many people the fine art of dancing. Who knows? Maybe your parents were trained by them! As a tribute, their plaque still embellishes our front wall.

Around 25 years ago, we took over the dancing school from them. In these years, we developed a unique instruction method, which teaches everyone quickly and effectively how to do Ballroom and Latin American dancing.

The dancing school resides in a typical Amsterdam-like monumental building. It has two dancehalls, a cosy bar and our personal quarters. The bar is opened some time before and after the lessons. A great opportunity to get to know yourfellow-students while enjoying a nice drink or snack!
