Wi School proposes active learning that focuses on exploration, discovery and creativity. Students are encouraged to be both autonomous and to cooperate in group projects.  They learn to respect others and their environment.

Immersive bilingualism

Our pedagogical approach to bilinguism focuses on teaching in both French and English. The children learn both languages through daily use during all classes and school activities with native speaking teachers. The Wi School approach is an immersive linguistic and cultural experience that develops children's written and spoken language skills. Students gain confidence and fluency in both English and French.

Montessori scientific approach

Our pedagogy is based on Maria Montessori's principles. Her approach comes directly from her observation of children in their environment. Today her studies are largely backed up by the neuroscientific research.

Cooperation in mixed age groups

Our mixed-age classes promote learning between children as they learn through imitating and observing their peers. Once a child has mastered a skill, they can take on the role of providing others with help, learning to express their thoughts with precision to make themselves properly understood. The varied interactions within the group encourage the values of cooperation.
