Welcome to Villa Maria, one of Montreal’s best private secondary schools for girls!

Two small schools of 600 students each share our beautiful campus. We welcome students from various cultures and faiths, celebrating our shared humanity within a family-like community dedicated to learning and harmony.

At Villa Maria, we not only strive to support and guide our young ladies as they work toward academic success but are committed to the development of skills and attitudes which will serve them as they face the challenges of life beyond our school.  Villa girls develop a strong sense of self-esteem through participation in the arts, their consciousness of social responsibility grows through community service activities and projects, their overall sense of well-being is nurtured through participation in sports, activities, and clubs,  opportunities for leadership are many and varied, and friendships that result from such a unique environment are made to last a lifetime.

Villa Maria provides every student with the opportunity to experience secondary education in an environment that is caring, and often described as family-like. Our students originate from eighty countries and speak twenty-six languages. Together we share and celebrate the richness and diversity of our shared humanity.

Our graduates do exceptionally well when they leave us.  They go on to study at the highest levels, and many graduates can be found working in leadership positions in areas such as science, government, business, and the arts. Our graduates remain our proudest legacy and a shining example for each new generation of Villa Maria students.
