I am proud to introduce our school to you. At WAB we believe that international school students have a special responsibility as global citizens. Never before has the world relied so much on young people to take up the challenge of building a sustainable future. Our students are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are acquiring skills and attributes to be the leaders of today.

WAB's mission to connect, inspire and challenge all members of our community so that they make a difference in our world, requires us to do our part to emphasize social, environmental and economic global issues. Students at WAB learn that they can really 'be the change'.

We’ve accomplished a great deal since the founders opened WAB in 1994. Today WAB is one of the most highly regarded international schools in the world. Our focus is always on excellence in student learning and understanding, and we take advantage of our location in Beijing to give our diverse student body unique opportunities to learn from and in this exciting environment.

Change is part of life in China, and in this age of technology change is more fast-paced and significant than ever before. We challenge our students to make the changes in the world positive ones. In the words of one of our alumni “I truly believe WAB is making the world a better place”. What a noble goal for WAB as an institution and for our students.
