Norwegian School in Hong Kong (N.T)

Welcome to the Norwegian International School. Words can hardly convey everything about this school, unexpectedly different as it is in so many ways. So we invite you to visit us, whether you are seeking a school for your child, a friend, teacher, or alumni we would be happy to show you the school.

In recent years we have grown out of our woodland playground and red-brick heritage building and have added a second campus for our primary section.  What remains the same is the stimulating and intimate learning environment and the close community of teachers, students, and parents at NIS.

We regard nurturing confident, enthusiastic and independent learners as our top priority but equally important is our obligation to build up young citizens that not only have a strong sense of responsibility and respect to self and others but a richness in spirit that comes from the Bible.

Central to these efforts are teachers and parents. Intensely devoted to the success of their students, the faculty serves as teachers, coaches, counselors, role models and friends. In their small classes, teachers strive to know each student; their personality and learning styles to best know how to differentiate teaching. Our most valuable partners are parents with whom we are committed to maintaining as close and as open a communication as possible.
