Kells Academy first opened its doors in 1978 — its mission to foster academic excellence and a lifelong love of learning in its students. Today, this co-ed, Montreal-based private English school remains committed to understanding, and celebrating, the uniqueness of its every student; it continues to emphasize each student's individual path to growth and development. Today, Kells offers a diversity of learning approaches, while seeking to open the hearts and minds of its students. We at Kells Academy believe that all students have a contribution to make to this world.
At Kells Academy we develop individualized programs. Classes are small. Entrance interviews assess the student’s academic standing and earmark the student's interests and passions. Daily pupil-teacher consultations keep students working within their comfort zone — whether at enriched, regular or adapted grade levels.

At Kells Academy we encourage a balance in the life of our students. Social development is key. Students learn that their views matter; they learn to care about people and the world around them. They flourish while acquiring a deep sense of self-esteem.
