The International School of Kabul (ISK) is an English-based K4-Grade 12 school located in Kabul, Afghanistan.

ISK is the only school in Kabul that can be attended by both the expatriate and local communities, and our faculty and administration relishes the opportunity to be a melting pot of cultures and people groups in this city.

Our school was founded as a coeducational institute to support the rebuilding and development of Afghanistan by serving four major groups: both local Afghan families and those who are returning from living outside the country, the international aid community, the diplomatic community, and international business families.

Currently, our student makeup is 60% Afghan and 40% expatriate, with the expatriate families coming from 26 different countries. 61% of our students are male, 39% are female. There are 128 students in our elementary grades, and 130 students in grades 7-12. The school is operated by OASIS International Schools, which is based in the United States. OASIS and its partners have founded and operated over 20 schools worldwide.

The mission of the International School of Kabul is to provide each student with a value-based worldview education and instill a respect for people of all cultures and religions.

The International School of Kabul believes in a learning environment that is disciplined, academically strong, and character-based. The teachers are living models of positive character, preparing the whole child intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally for future leadership in society.

ISK is located in Southwest Kabul, near the District 3 Police Station. Please contact us by phone - +93 (0)700.684.895, or by email at [...], for directions to our campus.
