At Greenfield Community School we will educate generations of children who will develop and use their talents to create a sense of curiosity, tolerance, belonging, meaning and contribution within their communities. We recognise the importance of laying solid foundations upon which to construct the educational future for our students. With the emphasis firmly upon learning, our school is a safe and secure educational environment where students are happy to explore and share their ideas. We encourage students to be curious and ask questions, knowing that this will develop their capacity to think creatively. We teach students awareness of different ways of thinking, helping them to understand the benefits of, for example, logical, divergent and creative thought; to understand that there is never only one answer to a question and that there are several versions of a “right” answer.
