Dushanbe International School (DUSHAN)

Dushanbe International School (DIS) was founded in 1997 to serve the international community in Dushanbe  and the surrounding area. It now houses students in grades Year 1 to Year 11 and Kindergarten. Students are drawn from families working for both the international and local business communities, including the diplomatic corps and various multi-national government-funded organizations. 

We believe that education is a shared responsibility and that the successful operation of a school depends on the cooperation of everyone concerned: students, parents, and staff. The mission of the Dushanbe International School is to create a partnership among the members of this triad. Each of us is responsible for doing our part to make our school a place where we can work and play together in harmony. 

Dushanbe International School is a reflection of all of us. All of our policies are intended to provide a safe and orderly environment that will be conducive to learning.
