Bambino English Play School

We offer a friendly, happy environment, in which your child can learn, awakening his interest in learning and thinking for himself.

This Playschool was opened over 27 years ago, initially as a way to solve Principal Nanny Tan’s problem in finding a suitable school for her three-year-old daughter. It’s goal was to provide children with a place where they can be happy while learning different skills and make the best of their potential. Pupils of different nationalities attend.

Programme
Bambino caters for children between 2 years and 6 years with sessions held mornings and afternoons. Classes are taught in English using modern equipment and educational toys. Activities include reading, writing, and simple mathematics with the focus placed on children becoming comfortable with these subjects both through workbooks and learning through play. Creativity is encouraged through painting, collage and embroidery. Embroidery is taught by the age of 5 years.

“Our aim is to acclimatise children to their academic surroundings in preparation for the transition to the Primary School,” says Nanny Tan, founder and principal, “ and help them to grow into healthy, socially well-adjusted, balanced individuals."
