The American School of Zagreb was founded in May 1966 to serve the needs of the American community residing in Zagreb.
In 2000, the American International School of Zagreb moved to its present location in the southeast wing of the Inter-Diocesan Seminary at Voćarska 106. In 2001 a commitment was made to expand to a full high school program and to add a Junior Kindergarten.
In June 2004 AISZ’s senior class graduated from the American International School of Zagreb and became the school’s first graduating class.
