Heinrich Zille (1859–1929) managed to capture the hardships of working-class life in the age of industrialisation with empathy and humour.

This three-room private museum in the Nikolaiviertel preserves his legacy with a selection of drawings, photographs and graphic art. The video on his life, though, is in German only.
