Gallerie Taksu

Guris, Fauzulyusri's new suite of paintings and lino-prints, follows his long preoccupation with mark-making and the way a line can imbue character or spirit in a painting. Largely an exhibition of portraits - an artist, a couple, a friend and fellow artists - Fauzul moves us beyond traditional understandings of 'portraiture' to embrace the surface that surrounds the sitter.
