www.textilesresources.com is an online media that provides daily news and updates about global textile apparel fashion industry, informative and knowledge based articles, global trade shows and events updates, interviews of textile apparel fashion industry professionals and influencers.
www.textilesresources.com is not just a blog, but it is my passion towards textile industry. After having educated from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) at Gandhinagar campus, and having associated with NDBI (National Design Business Incubation) at NID (National Institute of Design) Ahmedabad campus, I started my long journey into this field. At NDBI, I had developed multi-sensory textiles under the business name as Vastra-Vinyaas (meaning- trade of garments), this textile was having unique properties such as organic raw material (cotton) – handloom weaving – natural processing/washing – organic dying (vegetable colors) – organic fragrance/anti-bacterial/anti-odour etc. finishing to final materials such as garments/home furnishings etc. This was during 2005-06, at that time, such textiles were a completely new concept, however, the concept didn’t yield into a business, unfortunately. But I am happy to see many products are available nowadays basis on the organic materials.
Since 2006, I have been working for various corporates either into B2B, B2C, SaaS or AI base products/concept/services related to mostly textiles, and having main responsibilities are sales/revenue generator and bd.
Recently a thought came in my mind to launch a knowledge-based website, you can also call it a blogging site, wherein users can read latest news and happenings and articles about global textiles/apparel/fashion and stay abreast. At the moment, this site is having mainly two features: News and Articles, going forward I shall also add Interviews (text/audio/video) Trade Fair calendar (this calendar is being updated as per the organizers schedule, however I request to crosscheck with organizer before any decision) and few more features.
