The Lean Competency System (LCS) is a continuous improvement (CI) qualifications framework and community network for organisations, practitioners and employees. The LCS recognises and rewards organisations and individuals for competency in lean practice and lean training systems.

An organisations lean training system can become accredited and individuals within an organisation can become certified, providing that their practices are aligned with the one of the seven LCS levels.
