American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain

The vision of the Bahrain American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) is to become a leading impact player in the policy-making arenas of both, the US and Bahrain Governments. Endorsing and recommending solutions to trade and investment issues that protect benefit and enhance the legitimate common economic interests of its member companies and the respective nations of Bahrain and the US.

The mission of Bahrain AmCham is to promote trade and investments between Bahrain and the US in a non-discriminatory, non-political and non-profit making manner.

Objectives

• To promote the development of trade, commerce and investment between Bahrain and the US. 
• To be a direct liaison with the Chamber of Commerce and equivalent chambers of commerce and business organizations in Bahrain and, to be a forum for non-political dialogue between the local American business community; and public and private interests and enterprises in Bahrain. 
• To provide a forum in which American business executives in Bahrain and other business executives with American interests may identify, discuss and promote mutual interest regarding their activities. 
• To work with individuals and organisations in Bahrain of matters of mutual interest. 
• To attract and represent member firms and individuals with US interests who are engaged in the Bahrain market place, penetrating and expanding market segments and investing in Bahrain for the long term. 
• The Bahrain AmCham is to be legally constituted according to the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain and is specifically non profit making, non political organisation.
