Diplomatic relations between Zimbabwe and Canada date back to thirty-five years ago, since the attainment of Zimbabwe’s independence.The Mission was established to execute the mandate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is to promote the political and economic interests, image and influence of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the international community and to protect the interests of Zimbabweans abroad.
