The Network was established by four professional women in 1991 with the following objectives:
- to act as a focal point to promote career and personal development for women of all nationalities within the Luxembourg community
- to provide a forum for professional networking between women
- to serve as a resource for information on career and personal development
- to encourage women to achieve more satisfying professional life
- to foster and encourage social, cultural, educational and philanthropic activities
